Four clauses

  1. 1Ownership: the school (and families, for their own child) own the content; the vendor has a licence to process it for the service only.
  2. 2Export: full export of images, captions, tags and consent records in open formats, self-serve, at any time.
  3. 3Exit: on termination, a defined export window followed by verified deletion.
  4. 4Change of control: notice and an exit right if the vendor is acquired or materially changes terms.

Test it

During the pilot, export everything. If it takes a support ticket, it isn't self-serve. If the export is a zip of JPEGs with no captions or dates, it isn't complete.

For families

Parents should be able to save and export their own child's moments at any time — and receive the printed book, which is the ultimate export. Oyku's position on all of this is in the Trust Center.
