Why it matters

‘Preschool near me’, ‘daycare near me’, ‘nursery in [town]’ — these are the highest-intent searches in the sector, and Google answers them with the map pack. Profiles with recent, real photos and regular posts are favoured, and more importantly, they get tapped.

The weekly routine (15 minutes)

  1. 1Pick one consented, approved moment from the week — process over posed.
  2. 2Upload it as a photo and, separately, as a post with two sentences and a call to action (‘Book a visit’).
  3. 3Answer any new questions and reviews.
  4. 4Check hours and holiday dates.

Only children whose families gave public-tier consent, only after a second approval. Software should enforce this; a mistake here undoes a year of trust. Oyku's approved library separates family-only from public so marketing can self-serve safely.

What to photograph for the map

  • The entrance and a welcoming adult
  • The garden or outdoor space (parents rank it highly)
  • Hands mid-activity
  • The room set up in the morning
  • A staff member at eye level with a child
