The hour

  1. 10–10 min — the why. Read the purpose section of the policy together. Consent tiers explained with three real (anonymised) examples.
  2. 210–20 min — the never list. Toileting, distress, children who ask not to be photographed, unknown consent status.
  3. 320–35 min — the device. Approved app only; nothing in the personal gallery; how to see a child's consent status before tapping.
  4. 435–50 min — the flow, practised. Snap, tap children, tag, post. Three practice posts in a training class; watch them land in the approval queue.
  5. 550–60 min — what good looks like. Ten example moments: hands, faces, after concentration, five-word captions. Sign the policy.

Week-one follow-up

The approver gives feedback on the first twenty posts. Praise specific captures; correct gently. After twenty, most teachers are fluent.
